2. Identify the obstacles that have become barriers for getting into and staying in shape.

3. Honestly assess the negative self-talk allowing obstacles to become barriers.

4. List the fitness barriers, including an honest self-appraisal, and admit them to another person.

5. Create a plan-of-action for each barrier, including re-directed thinking to overcome obstacles instead of letting them become barriers.

6. Let go of the frustrations you cannot control to a higher power.

7. Carry your message of how you are learning to overcome obstacles to others who desire to make similar changes in their lives.
